School Clubs

School clubs are integral part of school activities. All the students are part of either Reading Club, Science Club, or Eco Club. The clubs are functioning at two levels. One at school level and another at community level. The clubs organize events at school and in community. The organization of events and taking part in them provides opportunities to the students to integrate their learning in multiple platforms. In addition to that, the club activities bring out qualities required for responsible social activism, and provide motivation and context for learning.

Reading sessions are also organized during different day celebrations. Reading club hosts book stalls for the visitors during school events like Baal Shodh Mela, Days of national and international importance like Science Day, Mathematics Day, World Environment Day, World Heritage Day etc.

Reading club also hosts events at the community. The club has conducted more than 10 events between 2017 and 2019 in the community. It is planned that we will conduct at least 10 reading club sessions in community every week once lock down is lifted.
